The expansive effects of moisture freezing can cause frost heave which is when concrete floors lift and crack. Freeze thaw can also lead to surface scaling and freezing temperatures can slow down hydration, resulting in a weaker concrete.
In addition to successfully addressing these risks, SCP P3 Industrial enhanced hydration by retaining the moisture needed to cure the slab.
By reacting internally, contractors were also able to access the slab in as little as two hours after application, reducing construction time and costs.
